GarbageCalgary.ca respects your privacy. We collect the minimum information needed to run the site and respond to enquiries.

What we collect

• Address searches: performed to show your schedule. We do not require an account to look up a schedule.
• Reminder subscriptions: if you sign up for pickup reminders, we store your email address, the address you chose and which carts you want reminders for. Every reminder email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we use a double opt-in so nobody can sign you up without your confirmation.
• Contact messages: if you use the contact form, we keep your message and email address to reply to you.
• Basic logs: standard server logs (e.g. IP address) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

We use the information above only to operate the site, deliver the reminders you asked for, and respond to your enquiries. We never sell your data.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense to cover hosting costs. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance; where permitted, ads may be personalised based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Apart from advertising, GarbageCalgary.ca itself sets no tracking cookies.
